The Little Rabbit in the Whispering Forest

In a quiet forest where the trees whispered softly at night, there lived a little rabbit named Luma. Luma had fur as white as moonlight and ears that twitched at every tiny sound.

One evening, as the sky turned purple and the fireflies began to glow, Luma wandered a bit too far from home.

Back at the burrow, Mama Rabbit noticed.
“Luma?” she called softly. But the forest only whispered back.

Word spread quickly among the forest friends.

“I’ll help find Luma,” said Taro the Turtle, slowly but surely.
“I’ll look from above,” hooted Mina the Owl, stretching her wide wings.
“And I’ll sniff the ground,” said Riko the Fox, his nose twitching.

They weren’t hunting Luma to harm him—they were on a gentle search, guided by care and friendship.

Meanwhile, little Luma sat beneath a glowing mushroom, feeling very small.
“I should have stayed close…” he whispered.

Just then, the fireflies gathered around him, lighting the way like tiny stars.

“Follow us,” they seemed to say.

Step by step, Luma hopped after the glowing lights. The forest didn’t feel so scary anymore.

Above, Mina the Owl spotted a flicker.
“There! Near the old oak tree!”

Riko the Fox and Taro the Turtle hurried over, as fast as they could (which was very fast for Riko… and not so fast for Taro).

“Luma!” they called.

Luma’s ears perked up. “Mama?”

But instead, he saw his friends—and behind them, Mama Rabbit, who had followed their voices.

“Oh, Luma!” she said, wrapping him in a warm hug. “I was worried.”

“I’m sorry,” Luma said softly. “I got lost.”

“That’s alright,” Mama Rabbit replied. “What matters is you’re safe—and not alone.”

The forest grew quiet again, the kind of quiet that feels like a cozy blanket.

Together, they all walked Luma home under the starlit sky.

And from that night on, whenever Luma wandered, he always remembered:
The forest may be big and mysterious…
…but it is also full of friends who will help you find your way home.
